Paruthi Veeran fame and Surya’s brother Karthi will soon join in the team of Lingusamy for his new film after Ayirathil Oruvan. Actress Nayantara is going to act with Karthi for the first time in this film. Produced by Lingusamy under his own banner Thirupathi Movies, this yet to be titled movie will hit the floors in the next month after Karthi completes his ongoing project Ayirathil Oruvan.
Lingusamy says, "It is a full length action with mild love story like Sandakozhi and you will watch a different Karthi and Nayantara. Originally, I planned this script for some other hero, but now Karthi is suitable for this role very aptly. BothNayantara and Karthi are busy with their ongoing projects and I hope that they would come to my project in July."As of now, there are two projects already in the pipeline for Thirupathi Movies and this Lingusamy directed movie is the third one.

That is why talented artists are very rare in Tamil and Telugu. In Paruthi Veeran, I didn’t perform on my own. I simply reflected what Ameer taught."

Kollywood actress Namitha’s ‘Jagan Mohini’ was launched at a glittering function in Madurai in which M K Azhagiri, son of Chief Minister M Karunanidhi took part.
N K Viswanathan, who had cranked the camera for several movies besides directing a few films, will direct Namitha soon. The heroine plays a prominent role in the movie titled ’Jagan Mohini’. Touted to be a horror film, the movie is inspired by Vittalacharya’s movie that had the same title about two decades ago. ’Jagan Mohini’ featured Jayamalini as the lead star.
The director, a keen supporter of DMK, hails from Madurai. Therefore he chose to hold the movie’s muhurrat in Madurai with Azhagiri participating. South Indian Film Chamber president KRG, Tamil Film Producer Council president Rama Narayanan, actor Raja, Namitha, Producer Anbalaya Prabhakaran among others took part in the celebrations. The shooting took place at Thirumalai Naicker Mahal.
Kollywood’s entertainment king, director Shankar has gone on a three weeks world tour to finalize locations for his Rajinikanth extravaganza Robot.
Accompanying Shankar on the world tour is his new cameraman Ratnavel. They will identify the locations and the climate of the place. As of now they will be going to Vienna in Austria, and from there to Rio de Janeiro in Brazil.
The final leg of their exotic location hunt would take them to Hanoi in Vietnam.They first flew to Vienna in Austria looking for lush new locations for a song shoot. Take any Shankar film; he will start the shoot with a song on his hero and heroine.In Anniyan he shot O Sukumari… song in Amsterdam while for Sivaji, he first picturised Vaaji, Vaaji… song, before starting the talkie portion.
The buzz is that he will start Robot with the shoot of two songs on the lead pairRajinikanth and Aishwarya Rai in foreign locations sometime in August. Ash will be paid a whopping 4 crore for the Rajnikanth starrer, ’Robot’, and this means the actress will break all records and will be tagged the highest paid actress in India
