Ashwini Nachappa (October 21, 1967 – )is an accomplished athlete from Karnataka, India. She was the glory girl of Indian female sprinting at the turn of the 80's having beaten P.T. Usha, she was also dubbed India's FloJo, having brought some glamour to the Indian athletic scene.She has also acted in a few Kannada movies and in a telugu movie, named after her. She has received the prestigious Arjuna award in 1988 for athletics.
